Ensuring no child, from the very young to teenagers, goes without during the holidays is the cornerstone of our Christmas in July campaign. Last year, FTM provided Christmas to 1,700 families and the need is anticipated to be greater this year with the recent closing of Haywood County's largest employer, Evergreen Pactiv, and related industries.
This year has started off busy, and successful, for us...and we wouldn't have it any other way!
The annual Mardi Gras Ball benefiting the Haywood County Schools Foundation (HCSF) was held on February 25 in Waynesville.
It's that time of year again...the air is getting cooler, leaves are starting to fall and the WOW annual calendar and planner is for sale! This is the 11th year for our annual calendar and the second year that we are also offering planners for sale.
Numerous WOW members supported the Annual Back 2 School Bash, hosted by Waynesville's First United Methodist Church on August 28, 2022 by volunteering before and during the event, helping to make it a great success.
This is the 12th year for our annual calendar, with all the proceeds supporting the needs of women and children in Haywood County. The theme for our 2024 calendar is Silver Screen Edition, in recognition of “Calendar Girls”
